TVYFL REQUIRES ALL STEPS TO BE COMPLETED IN ORDER TO ATTEND APPOLO CAMP OR PRACTICES: 

STEP 1 - REGISTRATION 

• Coach Registration HERE

STEP 2 - BACKGROUND SCREEN

• User receives link to Background Check  from TVYFL 
• Background checks on average take ~2 weeks
• User & SYF automatically receive the results

STEP 3 - USA FOOTBALL

New this year, certifications will be flag and tackle specific. Coaches completing the certification for the first time will complete our Level 1 flag or tackle certification, while returning coaches will be automatically assigned to take the Level 2 flag or tackle recertification. Coaches can access the certification by following the steps below.

• This course now includes Abuse Prevention Training
• Go to USA Football Youth Certification
• Click "Learn More" under either Flag or Tackle Certification.
• Click on "Get Certified"
• Click "Continue to Payment" 
• Type in promo code:
  • Flag Promo Code: SUNSETTACKLE23
  • Tackle Promo Code: SUNSETFLAG23  
• Click "Update Price"
• Click "Sign Up For Course!"
• Start Certification
• Send Certificate to registrar@sunsetyouthfootball.org

Important Note: In order to use the promo code provided below, coaches will need to be associated with your organization. Instructions on how to associate to an organization are detailed in the below document. 

STEP 4 - CPR:

• New this year, all coaches are required to obtain CPR Certification.
• Send Certificate to registrar@sunsetyouthfootball.org

STEP 5 - TVYFL Training:

• Look for an email invite from TVYFL to attend one of the mandatory trainings on August 6th or 27th.
