2018 TVYFL Rules and Policies

Required Certifications and Paperwork

  1. Heads Up Certification/Re-certification: Go to USA Football login.usafootball.com :    

    Returning Coaches: Simply login to their account and confirm they are with the same club (Sunset Youth Football – TVYFL) by answering yes or no. Complete the Youth Tackle Recertification (if certified last season).  Promo code sunsetYF19

  2. New Coaches: Click your club’s link below, then select ‘Create an Account’ to setup their account. Complete the Youth Tackle Certification.

  3. 1st and 2nd Year Head Coaches:  You need to attend a mandatory on-field TVYFL training:  June 23rd, 1-4 pm at Lewis & Clark College or July 28th , TBD.  Please click on registration link to register.

  4. Concussion Training: USA Football Concussion Certificate received during Level 1 certification.  You no longer need the Brain 101 certification.
     
  5. Background Check: Background checks are completed through the Coach Registration process.  An email will be sent after registering for you to complete.
  6. Coaching Contract/Registration Form: Complete coach registration & print and fill out the Coaching Contract (see attachment below)
     
  7. First Aid / CPR: Each team will need to have a minimum of 2 coaches with a valid First Aid / CPR Card.

All coaches must first register online and complete a background check.  Once you are a confirmed member of the Coaching Staff, you will then be directed to complete the action items noted above.
